Your online university might be invisible in ChatGPT. We tell you exactly why — and what to fix.
A focused 5-day AI Readiness Audit for online and hybrid institutions with 200–5,000 students. 15-page report, narrated walkthrough, 60-minute strategy call. $2,500 flat. Fee credited if you proceed with implementation.
Prospective students have already moved. Most universities haven't.
For the past 15 years, prospective students started their school search on Google. In 2026, a growing share starts in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google's AI Overview — before they ever type your institution's name.
This matters more for online universities than anyone. Your entire enrollment funnel is digital. Your competition isn't the college down the road — it's whichever school the AI mentions when a working adult asks "best affordable online MBA for working parents" at 9pm on a Tuesday.
Run that exact query in ChatGPT today. The response will name three to five universities. Most of the time, the school that paid us for an audit is now one of them. Before the audit, it was not.
"For affordable, accredited online degrees designed for working adults, consider:"
- University of the People — tuition-free, accredited
- Western Governors University — competency-based, ~$4,000/term
- Thomas Edison State University — generous transfer credit policy
- [Your competitor here]
If you don't appear in this list for queries that matter to your enrollment, every student who asks this question is being sent to your competition.
What you get at the end of 5 days.
A complete, written, defendable picture of where your institution stands and exactly what to do about it.

Who this is for. And who it isn't.
We are intentionally narrow. The audit is only useful for a specific type of institution.
This is for you if you are…
- An online or hybrid institution, 200–5,000 students
- US-based and primarily serving US students
- Accredited by DEAC, ABHE, TRACS, or a regional accreditor (HLC, SACSCOC, MSCHE, etc.)
- Dependent on digital enrollment (most or all leads come from the web)
- Led by a president, founder, or VP enrollment who can decide on a digital initiative without a 12-month procurement cycle
This is not for you if you are…
- A large state system or R1 research university
- Primarily in-person with online as a small side program
- Looking for a basic SEO audit without GEO and chatbot scope
- Locked into a multi-year contract with a competing higher ed marketing firm and unable to act on findings
- Unwilling to share publicly available analytics (Google Search Console basic export)
You work with one person.
No junior account manager. No team of strangers. Every higher education audit is conducted and presented by Miran personally.

Questions before booking.
Why pay for an audit instead of taking a free consultation call?
A free consultation tells you generic advice that applies to everyone. A paid audit gives you a specific 15-page report tailored to your institution: actual ChatGPT and Perplexity test results for your school, your specific admissions funnel friction points, your peer benchmarks, and a prioritized 90-day roadmap. The $2,500 fee is fully credited toward any implementation work, so if you proceed with us, the audit is effectively included.
How is this different from a regular SEO audit?
Traditional SEO audits focus on Google rankings. Our audit covers traditional SEO but emphasizes Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — how AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overview see, cite, or ignore your institution. We also include a deep admissions funnel analysis and an AI chatbot opportunity assessment specific to higher education, which generic SEO firms do not deliver.
Do you need access to our Google Analytics or admissions data?
No. The audit is conducted using publicly available data, industry-standard tools (Ahrefs, Lighthouse, AI search testing), and manual UX review. If you choose to share Google Analytics access, our recommendations become more precise — but it is optional. We never require sensitive admissions data.
We already have a chatbot. Is this audit still useful?
Yes. Most chatbots deployed at universities answer 30-50% of common questions and fail on the rest. Our audit benchmarks your current chatbot against best practices for admissions and student support, identifies specific gaps (after-hours coverage, multilingual support, hand-off to humans, qualification of leads), and assesses whether replacement or augmentation is the better path.
What if we are not DEAC, ABHE, or TRACS accredited?
Our process works for any small to mid-sized online or hybrid institution. We mention these accreditors because they represent our typical client profile (online-first, agile decision making, digital-dependent enrollment). If you are regionally accredited (HLC, SACSCOC, MSCHE, etc.) and meet the size criteria, the audit applies directly. For large state systems and R1 research universities, we are not the right fit.
Can our existing web team implement your recommendations?
Yes. The audit deliverable is designed to be implemented by your internal team, an external partner, or by us. Every recommendation includes specific technical detail (code snippets, schema markup examples, page templates) so that no recommendation is left vague. We are happy to brief your team after delivery.
Do you work with non-US institutions?
Yes, but our methodology is currently calibrated for US-based online universities. We can audit Canadian, UK, and EU institutions on request, with adjustments for local accreditation systems and search behavior. Contact us to discuss fit before booking.
What happens after the audit?
After delivery and the 60-minute strategy call, you have three paths: implement internally using our roadmap (no further cost), engage us for a fixed-scope implementation sprint (4-6 weeks, $5,500-12,000), or move into an ongoing partnership including web optimization and our FlowMind admissions chatbot (from $3,500/month). The audit fee is credited toward either of the latter two paths if started within 60 days.
Who exactly will do the work?
Miran Horvat, founder of Lampo Inspire, personally conducts and presents every higher education audit. There is no junior account manager or hand-off. You work directly with the person who builds your strategy.
What is your refund policy?
If after the 60-minute walkthrough you believe the audit did not deliver clear value — no questions asked, full refund. We have never had a refund request, but the offer stands.
